Yesterday, I watched ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.’ Then I started it again. I may – to put it lightly – be a little bit obsessed. Like right now, I really just want to watch it again. I am definitely in love with Peter Kavinsky (I know he’s meant to be 16 but Noah Centineo is 22 so it’s okay), and even more than I love him – I love Lara Jean’s wardrobe. So very quickly, this blog post came to me – more for my benefit than anyone else’s – how to get Lara Jean’s style. Also I feel like we maybe could be similar people as my room is also a tip, and I also romanticise love, and I also love Peter Kavinsky so let’s face it – maybe we’re the same person.
A blogger I love, Lauren, wrote an article for the Independent about how much the premise of Lara Jean as a non-white female protagonist meant to her. Lara Jean is a three dimensional character and I love how individual and unique they made her outfits, she was vibrant, colourful and completely herself – which is such an important lesson for anyone watching it to remember. See a round up of my favourite outfits below.
